Outreach Project for the Month

December...Two Outreach projects this month. (1)Christmas Gift Bags for JYC...We will need to make 11 Gift Bags. A list of allowable items is on page 4 of the Navigator. It is not necessary for the gifts to be identical, however they should be similar in what each one receives. There will be a Christmas card from St. Brendan's...a signup sheet will be posted ion the bulletin board if you are interested on contributing to this project. Please have your "gifts" to the church by Sunday, December 18th as they will be put into bags during the coffee hour.

(2) Gifts for Teens...The Office of Children Services (OCS) will also be a Christmas project this year. The OCS sponsors a Christmas Party each year where caretakers and foster parents can come and pick out gifts for the kids. This year their party will be held at St. Brendan's on Monday, the 19th. The gifts need to be at the church by Sunday, the 18th. For this project we will be buying and donating gifts for teens (13-18). If you have teens, you know what they like but for those of who don't, you can always ask Lori or Carla for some ideas. One thing that is always a hit is gift certificates and movie tickets. Costoco sells movie certificates. Gifts are not to be wrapped. If you prefer to give money, you can do that and someon will chop for you but it needs to be done in a timely manner to allow shopping time.

On Going: The Food Bank is low...don't forget this important ministry.

The Vestry has designated the "loose offering" on the 2nd Sunday of each month to go the Glory Hole.

There are still weeks open for the MiCasa/Glory Hole run.
